Savings Account: Terms and conditions: $100 minimum to open. This is a variable account and the APY could change after the account is opened. This account has a $5.00 monthly fee when the daily balance falls below $100 at any time during the month. Unlimited withdrawals: When made in person, by mail or at an ATM. When made by telephone, fax or computer, if a check is payable to the member and mailed to the member. Unlimited transfers when made between the accounts of the same member and made in person by mail or at an ATM and when the transfer is made by the member to pay a loan the member has with the credit union. Limited to six (6) transfers or withdrawals when payable to a third party when made by telephone, fax, computer as well as by check or debit card. Made by telephone, fax or computer to another account of the member at the credit union. Made by preauthorized, automatic or bill-payment arrangement for transfers to the member’s other account(s) at the credit union or to a third party.
Money Market Account (Regular and IRA): Variable tiered rate account with easy access and maximum liquidity. There is a $10 monthly fee on all Money Market Accounts when the daily balance falls below $1,000 at any time during the month.Regulation D imposes a six transfer/withdrawal limit per month on savings and money market accounts, which includes the following types of transactions: (1) Pre-authorized or automatic withdrawal arrangement for a transfer to the member’s other account(s) at the credit union or to a third party; Telephone transfers; or Transfers initiated by personal computer to another account at the credit union or to a third party during a calendar month. Transfers to a third party if made by check. (2) Transactions NOT included in the six transfer/withdrawal limit are as follows: Transfers or withdrawals the member makes in person, through an ATM, by mail or by telephone (which results in the mailing of a check payable to the member). Transfers from a credit union account to the same credit union for the purposes of repaying a loan.
New Member Welcome Certificate: *APY= Annual Percentage Yield. $500 minimum. Annual Percentage Yield (APYs) assumes that dividends remain in the account until maturity. A withdrawal will reduce earnings. No additional deposits can be made during the term of the Share Certificate. Rates, terms and conditions are solely within the discretion of the Board of Directors. We may limit the amount you may invest in one or more accounts to a total of $1,000,000. Early Withdrawal Penalty: We may impose a penalty if you withdraw principal from your account before the maturity date. The penalty imposed shall be as follows:
- If the qualifying period is 12 months or less, you will be assessed the Early Withdrawal Penalty Fee as stated on the Fee Schedule, plus forfeit an amount equal to all dividends for 90 days on the amount withdrawn;
- If the qualifying period is 13 to 24 months, you will be assessed the Early Withdrawal Penalty Fee as stated on the Fee Schedule, plus forfeit an amount equal to all dividends for 120 days on the amount withdrawn; or
- If the qualifying period is more than 24 months, you will be assessed the Early Withdrawal Penalty Fee as stated on the Fee Schedule, plus forfeit an amount equal to all dividends for 180 days on the amount withdrawn.
An early withdrawal penalty could reduce your initial investment.
