Christian Community Credit Union – Impacting Lives for God’s Kingdom

Our vision is to build a community of Christ followers who transform our world through their lives and generosity. Whether it’s through our financial services, tools and resources, or the way we serve our members, we’re passionate about helping churches, ministries, and individuals manage their money wisely so they’ll be blessed and be a blessing to others.

CCCU Kingdom Impact

Simply put, when you choose to partner with CCCU, you’re helping to build churches, expand ministries, and advance God’s Kingdom.

Every time you use a CCCU credit or debit card, you’re changing lives. Through our “Cards that Give to Missions” program, we have been able to donate over $6 million to missions and ministry projects since 1995.

Christian Community Credit Union Donates $10,000 to Assist in Release of MAF Pilot Ryan Koher

Christian Community Credit Union (CCCU) has donated $10,000 to aid in the release of MAF pilot Ryan Koher who has been in a Mozambican high-security prison since November 4, 2022. Koher was on a mission to fly supplies from southern Mozambique to an orphanage in the northern part of the country where there has been insurgent activity. Unfortunately, what should have been a routine flight for the greater good, turned into false allegations. Police believed that the supplies were to support terrorists in the region, a belief that simply doesn’t align with the facts. Ryan has been detained for nearly four months, still waiting for specific charges to be filed.

“The donation from Christian Community Credit Union is helping to cover legal and other costs for Ryan,” said David Holsten, MAF President and CEO. “CCCU is more than just MAF’s financial institution. For decades they have been generous ministry partners who have consistently invested in MAF and the isolated people we serve. We appreciate their prayers and assistance for our pilot, Ryan Koher, in his wrongful detainment in Mozambique.”

The funds for the donation come from CCCU’s “Cards that Give to Missions” program, in which a portion of the Credit Union’s interchange income (fees merchants pay to card issuers) is donated when cardholders use their Christian Community Credit Union-issued credit cards for purchases.

Prayers and messages of support can be sent to [email protected].

CCCU Staff Volunteers at Giving Children Hope

During President’s Day 2020, a team of 45 staff volunteered at Giving Children Hope, a faith-based non-profit organization in Buena Park, CA. One team put together backpacks with nutritious foods going to children and families in need through the ministry’s “We’ve Got Your Back” program. Giving Children Hope is dedicated to alleviating domestic and international poverty through disaster relief, health and community development, vocational training, and advocacy.

Christian Community Credit Union Employees Raise $4,300 for City of Hope

Christian Community Credit Union employees held their 19th annual cancer awareness fundraiser to benefit City of Hope. After a matching donation from the Credit Union’s senior management team and another matching grant from Hewlett-Packard, the total amount raised was $4,300.
