Our Statement of Faith

Bible and the Trinity

The Bible is uniquely God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters of faith and practice. There is one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — each possessing all the attributes of Deity.

Sin and Salvation

God created humans, but they disobeyed God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, they need God’s saving grace. Salvation comes only through God’s grace and must be received personally by repentance and faith. This accomplishes salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Christ as Savior and Lord.

Jesus Christ and Eternal Life

Jesus Christ lived a sinless life on Earth and voluntarily paid for humans’ sin by dying on the cross as their substitute. Jesus Christ rose from the dead and is the only mediator between humans and God. He will return to earth, will raise the dead, and judge all people.

Holy Spirit and the Church

The Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ, equipping believers for personal growth and service to the Body of Christ, the church. The church is called to proclaim God’s reconciling grace, to glorify God, and serve those in need.

Our Core Values

1. God-Honoring Relationships

“This is how I want you to conduct yourself in these matters. If you enter your place of worship and, about to make an offering, you suddenly remember a grudge a friend has against you, abandon your offering, leave immediately, go to this friend and make things right. Then and only then, come back and work things out with God.” Matthew 5:23-24 (The Message)

2. The uniqueness of every person in the Credit Union

“I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14 (New King James Version)

3. Creativity and a diversity of ideas and solutions

“Don’t push your way to the front; don’t sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don’t be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand. Think of yourselves the way Christ Jesus thought of himself.” Philippians 2:3-5 (The Message)

4. The wise use of our time, talents, and unique God-given gifts

“And whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus, all the while giving thanks through him to God the Father.” Colossians 3:17 (New Living Translation)

5. Accountability for ourselves and all team members

“So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (New Living Translation)

6. A well-balanced life
