How We Use Social Media (And How To Use It To Talk To Us)

Here at Christian Community Credit Union, we love our members. And we’d like to get to know potential members, too! One of the ways we are available to talk to you is through social media. We think of our social media channels as an extension of our offices.

Here’s some information about how we will work to be great hosts, and how you can be the best guests.

Appropriate Language

We’d like to keep this a family-friendly space. So, we’ll always use appropriate language when posting and commenting. We ask that you do the same.

Personal Attacks

We absolutely want to hear any problems or complaints you have. We’ll answer them as quickly and completely as we can. But please don’t attack anyone personally.

Spam

Please don’t make posts that are focused on selling. Also, please don’t post any comment that links to a sales site you either own or get money from.

Private Information

Don’t post any private information. We may ask you to privately message us about your account if you have a problem. But if you’re uncomfortable with that, you can always e-mail or call us.

When to Find Us

We’re available to respond to all of your questions on social media from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you send us a message outside of those hours, we promise we will get to it as soon as we’re back in the office.

Illegal Activity

Please don’t encourage or suggest any illegal activity. Don’t post any words or images you don’t own and claim them as yours.

Posting Your Own Images

We may sometimes ask you to post or send in images or words. This might be a part of a contest or survey. Any words or pictures you send in will become our property. We may use them in advertising or for other purposes.

Comments

We don’t want to remove or block your comments or pictures. But if you go against our policies, we may block or remove them.

Credit Union Employees

We love it when our employees post or comment on our sites with their own social media accounts. Whenever they do so, they’ll always say they work for us. Also, if our employees recommend our products or services on other sites using their own social media accounts, they’ll always say they work for us. That’s the law!

Our employees will also say that their opinions are their own. If they are authorized to speak on the Credit Union’s behalf, they will say so. This policy is to protect our employees and our online community.

Thank You

Thank you for reading this policy! We are glad you are part of our community. We might change these rules from time to time, and we’ll let you know on this page when that happens.
