Member Service Representative I, Grade 7/8

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required One year of banking experience required Cross-selling experience required
Reliable transportation required
Valid driver’s license and current car insurance required (when driving for Credit Union business)
One year of experience dealing with the public in a call center environment preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Knowledge of accounting principles preferred
Knowledge of word processing (Word preferred) and spreadsheets (Excel preferred) Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow through on members’ requests
Completion and passing of in-house training/testing and certification for current position
Ability to deal effectively with multiple tasks and interruptions
Good organization skills Ability to work on computers Attention to detail
Ability to work with supervision and follow instructions
Good telephone techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Math aptitude
Typing at 25 wpm
10-key at 25 wpm
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
Ability to exercise confidentiality Regular attendance and punctuality Ability to work as part of a team Professional appearance
English literacy

*Starting level for this position is Grade 7. After the employee is fully trained in all aspects of this position, and upon the discretion of the supervisor, the employee may be promoted to Grade 8 according to knowledge, training and experience.
