Christian Community Credit Union employees participated in Operation Christmas Child and donated 85 shoeboxes filled with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, clothing, and more. The program brings joy, hope, and God’s love to boys and girls around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas—Jesus Christ.

"One of the greatest joys of participating in Operation Christmas Child is knowing that I will light up a child’s face with a smile of happiness and excitement,” said Yvonne De Avila, Christian Community Credit Union employee. "I have my two young grandsons join me in shopping for items to put in the boxes. I want them to learn the heartfelt joy of giving to less fortunate children around the world. I pray that my grandsons will continue to give throughout their lifetime.”

With assets over $550 million, Christian Community Credit Union serves over 29,000 members nationwide and has served as a financial partner of Christian churches, ministries, and their members for over 55 years.
