CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY CREDIT UNION DONATED $40,000
TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FIRE DISASTER RELIEF
Christian Community Credit Union donated $40,000 toward disaster relief for the Southern California wildfires through the “Cards that Give to Missions and Ministries” credit card program.
The $40,000 donation was distributed to various Christian groups namely Transformation Ministries (Covina, CA); International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (Los Angeles, CA); Thousand Pines Christian Camp & Conference Center (Crestline, CA); Inland Empire Southern Baptist Association (Riverside, CA) and American Baptist Churches of Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA).
“God calls us to take care of each other in times of need” stated John Walling, President/CEO of Christian Community Credit Union. “This donation will help many families who are starting to put their lives back together.”
Thanks to the tremendous response of Christian Community Credit Union members using their credit or debit card, the Credit Union was able to give a donation to agencies helping those affected by the fires that raged throughout Southern California last October. To date, the Credit Union has donated over $2 million to missions and ministry projects.
With assets over $440 million, Christian Community Credit Union serves over 29,000 members nationwide and has served as a financial partner of Christian churches, ministries and their members for over 50 years. For more information, call 800.347.CCCU.
