CCCU making a difference
Your money at work in building the kingdom
When you place your deposits at CCCU, you're putting your money to good works. How? Your deposits are used to provide affordable loans to growing churches and ministries. Here are some of the churches where your money is loaned back for projects such as remodeling, refinancing, construction, purchase etc. Cold Springs Community Church, Placerville, CA - purchase for staff housing. Crossroads Community Church, La Habra, CA - refinance. First Baptist Church of Hanford, CA - worship center. Stockton Baptist Church, CA - church auditorium and worship center expansion. Trinity Baptist Church of Sunnymead, CA - worship center.
“Working with CCCU has been a wonderful blessing. They made the entire process of financing our new
building, and banking in general, very workable. CCCU is all about giving back to the ministry and
expanding the Kingdom of God. Now that’s refreshing!”
Pastor Dave Kelly, Associate Pastor
New Life Foursquare Church, Canby OR |

CCCU makes an impact in Africa through World Council of Credit Unions
CCCU is making a difference worldwide. As a proud supporter of the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) which develops credit unions worldwide and provides solutions to alleviate poverty, CCCU is helping poor families to improve their financial condition.
Having lost his father at age three during Uganda's civil war, Godfrey Senoga dropped out of high school before completing building skills training. Godfrey began making garden tools for farmers and traders. With help from his credit union, Godfrey was able to start a household tools shop. With his personal growth and successful business, Godfrey has been elected youth leader of his village. His business is growing and so is his credit union savings.
WOCCU has credit union development projects in 15 countries including Afghanistan, Bolivia, Rwanda and Uzbekistan. Through CCCU's support to the WOCCU, these credit union projects help activate social change by offering entrepreneurial opportunities, jumpstarting rural economies and helping economies recover after conflicts.

Plug spending leaks: how to save hundreds, one dollar at a time
The path to savings is paved with pennies. It starts with awareness. Each time you make a purchase, consider the cost. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
• Brown bag your lunch. $7 per day totals $140 a month.
• Substitute water for juice. A family of four can save over $500 a year by cutting just one glass of juice per person per day.
• Use coupons at grocery stores and buy house brands instead of name brands whenever possible.
• Prepare meals in advance and freeze them to avoid the temptation of ordering pizza at the end of a long workday.
• Cooking at home will make your food budget go much further.
• Throw pocket change in a jar & cash it in when it's full.
• Review your phone bill and drop unnecessary services like Caller ID and Call Forwarding.
• Cut your cable television down to basic.
• Hand wash your clothes at home or use a home dry clean kit instead of the cleaners.
Saving money is a habit worth adopting. As a member of CCCU, you have access to BALANCE a financial fitness program. To speak to a counselor who can help you design a budget or pay off debt, call 888.456.2227 or visit:
